The Opéra after hours
The Palais Garnier, empty and lit, with a guide who knows its ghosts.
When the audience has gone, the Palais Garnier belongs to its stagehands, its archivists and, they say, one or two others. A curator from the house leads you through the foyer, onto the stage and down to the underground lake.
You return to the Fan Bar for a nightcap, where a table will be waiting.
